NORCET is a national-level exam conducted by AIIMS to recruit Nursing Officers across AIIMS and central institutions.
It mainly tests your:

1. Stage I: NORCET Preliminary (Qualifying Only)
Exam Scheme
- Duration: 90 minutes
- Total: 100 MCQs (100 marks)
- 20 GK & Aptitude
- 80 Nursing syllabus
- Negative marking: β1/3 per wrong answer
- Not counted for final merit/rank
- Section-wise Pattern
- 5 sections Γ 20 questions each
- 18 minutes per section (auto-lock after time ends)
- Only the current active section can be attempted
- Once the section closes, it cannot be reopened

- Entire nursing syllabus

- 4 sections Γ 40 questions
- 45 minutes per section (auto-lock)
- Only the active section can be attempted
- No revisit to previous sections
- Auto-submit at 180 minutes
